Last year I sought you out once again to begin tutoring in English Language Arts. The school system did not recognize A.K.'s weaknesses as keenly as I did. You introduced us to Miss Mireille. Let me list her accomplishments:
She introduced A.K. to a series of books that turned her lack of interest in reading to almost becoming an avid reader.
A.K. improved tremendously in her writing as indicated by her improved grades.
Over the summer A.K. read 4 books and completed a summary and is attending a recognition ceremony hosted by the First Selectman.
Last but certainly not least, we just received a copy of her SBAC test results and she exceeded the standard in English Language Arts.
